Help Why no ICS update for me in uk?

Why is there no ICS update available for my phone, I am in the UK? Will one be released or will is there something I can do, without having to flash or root? Kies just says my phone has the latest firmware instaled. 2.3.4

I believe the phone is unlocked and network free as it was a replacement for my o2 branded phone from the insurence company after my phone was stolen.

You should be able to update your GS2 from 19th of May (mine was also SIM free) using Kies, I did and to be honest I am not so happy with ICS 4.03.

I'm afraid that the UK OXX code has not been released yet, see here.

OXX is a multi, "Open", CSC code and has been released in about a dozen other countries so far.

You should connect your phone to Kies and make sure it recognises it and check for updates that way.
