Root Why Root your phone

I don't see any reason to root my phone, I never did nothing to my other phones and they all worked fine. The Atrix is the best phone I ever had so why mess with it. It does everything I bought it for.

A few questions about your..err. i guess it's a statement..

1. Since you are discussing root, wouldn't this be better placed in the root section rather than the accessories section?

2. Are you asking a question? Or are you just rather making a statement to others that you have no reason to root.

3. If you have no reason to root, then you are on the right track, simply dont do it.

4. If you are intending to ask a question why some people like to root then;

Some people, hacker/modder/dev types, like myself, like to have the super user access to their phones. This gives us the ability to change certain things, add and delete system apps (like killing the bloatware), and access to system files and stuff. There are also lots of really cool utility and control type apps that require root access.
