Help Why Simplified Chinese?

I just bought a Note (pretty sure this one) in Taiwan. A white one. Anyways, I am not learning the tying style Taiwanese learning but pinyin. Learning Traditional handwriting and speaking too.


So why is my only choice with my keyboard that uses pinyin - simplified characters? I don't recognize them.

First picture (I had to ask how to type it) outputs traditional. Second is pinyin which I know how to type outputs simplified. Why? My PC doesn't do that. The note obviously has both fonts. I don't know if I need to contact google or samsung either, though both come out in Chinese which I only know so little.
