Why the Epic will fail...

To some degree, I agree. Not that it will be a failure, but that it would be BETTER if it were being produced by HTC or Motorola.

But this thread most definitely fails. ;)

LOL @ the first post. I expected some long drawn out essay or something. Seriously though, how can something this Epic fail?

Thank you for this constructve thread. Hopefully it will serve some use - like letting those of us who don't agree get them easier.

Thank you!!

I always hate seeing posts like this. Motorola and HTC both have quality control issues. HTC EVO and Hero both have problems with the screen getting dust beneath it. The hero because there is a gap in one corner where the screen doesn't touch it's housing, in the EVO the screen can actually be seperated in the lower corner from rest of the phone. Plus there are several other issues that are easily found by searching.

Motorola.... Screen flicker problems. Not to mention I have yet to pick up a motorola that actually felt solid, They seem to love making devices that feel cheap. I recall the Droid having issues where the battery cover just falls off with the most minor of pressure.

I am not saying Samsung is perfect, however they have a good history of making solid, quality devices, without quality control issues ( that I have experienced). Now they have had issues the chips they use, like GPS... Yet, I don't think I can say that the EPIC would be better being made by HTC or Motorola.

Tell me wen u hear some worst things about the orig. galaxy s and captivate or vibrant than EVO or Hero than you can say something about this phone.

I have owned Moto, HTC, and Samsung. So my opinion is based on ownership of all three brands. Motorola has been the best quality for me. My HTC rarely had issues. My Samsung freezes up every day, any time I receive a voicemail, and also just whenever the heck if feels like it.

Hmmm... I'm not going to say my Moment has been perfect however, it is not a terrible phone. My HTC hero was junk. It was slow, got bogged down easily, battery life was laughable, terrible quality control with dust under the screen (among other things, still a problem on EVO) It was a terrible phone. My ex had MT3G, again that thing was junk, with some truley serious quality control issues.

I have friends with Motos and have demoed Droid, sorry they feel cheap to me, they are always trying to put out an attrative looking phone, not a well built phone. Also the demo I had (Droid) the damn battery cover kept falling off, it was annoying to say the least.

So I guess we can just keep arguing back and forth, however I don't think this will change the opinions of the folks who are going to get this phone when it comes out anyhow...
