why will an app work on my phone but not another?

Hi guys, I have the argos product finder app on my hero.
My husband had just got the HTC wildfie and when he searches the market for this app it does not show up.
I then found it on here by searching the apps and he tried to get it using the bar code scanner but the phone says it cant find the product.

Very strange, he is runnung the same software as me and the wildfire is a newer phone. Does anyone know why this might be.

Also if I go into the market and search argos I get about 20 hits, if my husband does the same thing he gets 2. very strange, cant figure it out.

Any ideas

screen resolution compatibility may be the issue here. wildfire is qvga and not all apps support it.

This is a market fix somewhere, most likely on the wildfire/x10 mini forums that should help.
