See, comedy. Good stuff!
Not sure it was meant to be comedic if you see what device he owns...unless it's someone that just created a fake troller ID.....?!?!

He's a trollin! Thats why when I posted after him "lol".
To be honest I was wondering that same thing as the OP. I think we all are. When I decided to get a new smartphone I told myself I'm going to be stuck with this phone for anywhere between 1-2 years so I want to get the best one I can. I started doing a ton of research and my attention was originally focused on the iphone believe it or not. After all they had the reputation of being the most popular/best phone. I generally don't much like apple as a company(long story) but their PR and advertising were so good that even I felt like I HAD to have an iphone..lol. It was almost like someone had put a spell on me. Thankfully the spell was broken when all the speculation was proven wrong and not only did the new iphone 5 not have the features they thought it would, but there was no iphone 5 at all just the 4S. After that my full attention went to android and the upcoming top dogs there. It boiled down to 3 phones looming on the horizon. The ReZound, G-Nex, and the Razr. After looking at the specs on all of them and comparing them to what I wanted in a phone I knew it was going to be between the ReZound and the G-Nex. I scrambled for every bit of news or info I could get. Sometimes I'd sit at my search screen just clicking refresh to see if a new article or informative post was made in the past 15 mins or so..lol. That's when I first noticed how big the difference was in advertising and promotion between these two phones. Not to mention the HUGE word of mouth for the G-Nex. It's basically all everyone was talking about and the general undertone in the community was if you buy any phone other than the G-Nex you are stupid and your phone(whatever phone it was) was crap. So I decided to take a serious look at the G-Nex. Pulled in ever scrap of info I could and when they had their official announcement about the launch of the G-Nex I was at my computer waiting for the live webcast to start. I have to admit it was kinda cool. I mean it felt like I was at a big movie premiere. I still wasn't 100% sold afterwards so I figured I may as well do the same thing for the ReZound. Looking for stuff on the ReZound was like pulling teeth. There was very little new info and when you did find something it was barely worth mentioning. When they FINALLY had their official announcement it was ok but it was all pictures and blogs as opposed to a live webcast so it felt a lot less climactic. Anyway even with all of that there was just something about the phone itself(certainly not the PR) that caught my attention. Caught it and held it. The more I searched and found out the more I knew this was the phone for me. At the same time I thought it was odd that I'd have to go through all that trouble to find out about a product they were supposed to be trying to sell me. On launch day at 9AM I bought my ReZound and haven't regretting it one bit. Haven't had a second thought or doubt. The phone has performed incredibly well for me. After purchase I wanted to see how the phone was doing in general and I just knew that it would be taking the industry by storm. To my surprise I had yet to see a single TV commercial or even hear one on the radio. I just couldn't believe it. Such a great product and the first true HD screen on a smartphone and not one advertisement? WOW! I am very disappointed in HTC for their lack of promotion on this phone. I just can't understand that and because of "other background deals" going on it's not like Verizon is going to push this phone. So unless someone is as obsessive as I was or just happened to stumble on to the phone there was almost no way they would know about it. When I finally did see a commercial for the ReZound it was pushing the Beats audio on the phone, and although I do like the beats feature that's all it is "a feature". One among many. They didn't bother to mention the 1.5 ghz processor, or the true HD screen. How is beats going to appeal to a middle aged white executive or the average American housewife, or a small business owner? It's not. It's a nice bonus but it shouldn't be the selling point of this wonderful device. Till this day I haven't seen any other commercials for the ReZound except that one for Beats and even that one rarely played. People can't buy a phone if they don't even know it exists. And if you only tell them about one feature of the phone it makes your product look limited. People today have a short attention span and if you don't hit them with everything in one punch they loose interest and walk away. Without a doubt I feel like the better phone is the ReZound(at least for me) but as far as advertisement and PR the G-Nex wins hands down. This isn't the ReZounds fault it's HTC's and they need to do something about it. The question is will they, or will they just move on to the next new device? Time will tell. I hope they will address this but I'm not going to hold my breathe. Still I have my new phone and I am very very happy with it so I guess it doesn't really effect me as much.Ok, now that I've gotten that out of my system I'll try to address the question at hand. I apologize in advance so the long post.To be honest I was wondering that same thing as the OP. I think we all are.
