Help Wi-fi connection with multiple routers

Hey all,

I just got my Nexus S and I'm trying to connect to a wireless network that has multiple routers.

Specifically:

Cable Modem -> WAN Port of NETGEAR Wireless Router -> (lots of cat6) -> LAN Port of Linksys Wireless Router

I'm connecting to the Linksys which is basically acting as a switch, although I do have a different SSID for it. Both are using WPA2 albeit with different SSID/passwords

I'm trying to connect to the Linksys router. All of my other devices connect to it fine, and my phone gets an IP, I can ping it from my computer, but I can't access any sites from the phone. The Wi-Fi bars are white, instead of green. I can connect to the other router fine, but its too far from my room to use unfortunately.

Any suggestions for this very specific issue? Thanks, first time Android user so I'm looking forward to hanging around here a bunch :)

I have a dual router configuration at my home as well, one for Wireless-G devices, the other for Wireless-N. My G router is a higher-end D-Link, so I use it as the DHCP. The other is an AirLink I got for $12 at Frys, lol. I have them connected in the same manor as yours, Modem>D-Link as DHCP>AirLink with DHCP off. Each has its own SSID, just like yours. I haven't had any issues at all, which leads me to believe it may be an issue with your Linksys router or its settings.

I'm personally not a fan of Linksys routers. The only thing they're good for is running DD-WRT. Assuming you're fairly tech savvy, you might want to look into it.

EDIT: Not saying your Linksys router is defective. I'm just saying there's some compatibility issue between it and your phone perhaps. What model is it btw? That might help.
