Help Wi-Fi Direct problems

Has anyone got Wi-Fi Direct working reliably?

Occasionally I can get my S2 (4.1.2) and Tab 2 10.1 (4.2.2) to connect and transfer a file but that is rare. Superbeam did no better.

Any help please?
