Help Wi-fi issue

I had my phone connected to my home wi-fi network and working perfectly yesterday. Today I am still able to update my feeds page, but if I try to use the browser I get a "page not found" error, and if I go into the market I'm getting a "network error" message.

My network is showing up as connected in my wi-fi settings screen, and I'm still able to connect and do everything on my iPod so I don't think it's an issue with my network.

Does anone have any idea what might be going on?

Sorry, I guess I'm not getting quite what that is or what I would have to do. Is "wifi fixer" something to look for in the Marketplace?

Try turning off wifi then turning it back on. I have to do that whenever I come home.

Sorry, yes it's an app on the Market. It's free.
Basically it resets the wifi connection from time to time.

The guy who built it says it best:
I wrote it for my G1 originally after noticing that the wifi connection would often

I tried that.....didn't seem to help. If it means anything, I was able to conenct to another non-secure network today and it seemed to work for me.

Ok, I'll give that a shot. Of course, I paranoid about using up all my 3G allotment...wish I could do it at home over wi-fi! :)

Try this ... turn on WiFi and go to menu>settings>wireless and networks>Wi-Fi Settings and long press on your home network and "forget network". Then turn WiFi off and back on again and see if it finds your network again. You'll need to re-enter your security credentials.

Ok, I'll give that a shot. I've tried the "forget", but not with wi-fi off. I'd hate to have to do that too often, though.

I dowloaded wifi fixed, and is seems to have done the trick. Thanks for all other suggestions, but none of them seemed to work.

Well, at least it worked for a bit. A half hour later and it's acting up again. This is getting a little frustrating.... I guess I'm still looking for ideas.

I'm not seeing the "wifi fixer" icon on my status bar like I used to, but when I got into the as it says it's active. I assumie it's still doing it's job?

Should I think about taking it back to At&t and getting a new phone?

I powered my phone down last night, and turned it back on (don't know why I didn't think of that sooner). That seems to have resolved my issue. It worked all last night, and was still working when I got up this morning. Somhow wi-fi got turned off, but when I turned it back on after getting home it connected and ran fine again. Hopefully I'm out of the woods.
