I've just started having this issue with my phone where the phone will connect via Wi-fi for maybe 5 seconds then disconnect then connect again over and over again.. I've rebooted the phone and other then wiping the dilvk cache I'm not sure why this has started? my computer connects fine via the same wi-fi signal with no disconnects.

Yeah, the above Sticky thread on WiFi outlines various WiFi problems including those unrelated to DLink and Netgear routers.
SubaruB4's original post should have been posted on the Sticky "WiFi Issue" thread and this thread really should be merged.
