My Ascend is rooted but not modded and, for some reason, the wi-fi is not working at all. I go into Settings | Wireless & networks and click on Wi-Fi to turn it on and it won't turn on. Can anyone help?

I don't think it's the router because the wi-fi on the phone even turn to look for any wi-fi connections.
