Ok, in the notifications on the top of the screen...on the left, There is a wifi symbol with a line through it....can this be removed from the bar?

The Inc4G is relentless about wifi. Want to watch a web video but aren't on wifi? You have to clear a message suggesting turning on wifi first. If wifi is off, there is an ever present symbol in the tray you cannot remove.

Doesn't really matter to me, as I leave my wifi on about 99.5% of the time.
Leave it to Verizon. "We've got the fastest, most reliable 4G network." But please don't use it.

agree it is annoying. and the wifi widget they give you doesn't turn it off/on like on orig inc, it just opens wifi settings. gee thanks. you can turn off the notification within apps though under wifi settings.
It worked that way on the Inc2 & Tbolt too, but the Rezound is the same way as the Inc4G. WHen Iread up on it they said they couldn't do that. Odd since they could on the previous phones.
