wi-fi or 3g

hi im not very familiar with wi-fi on mobiles.so when i am out with my hero and it picks up a wi-fi signal,what advantage does it have over 3g when im using the internet.cheers

The data over wi-fi doesn't count as part of your mobile data usage on your tariff so (in most cases) will save you money

also with myself the wifi is a lot faster than 3g so faster and free that cant be bad
