Help Wi-Fi question

OK just got my n4 and for some reason wifi is not working and there's about 2 bars on the signal. Anyone else experience this?
 
OK just did the reset but now it wont sign in to Google now. What weird I'm on my old phone on the same wifi and it works. Does the type of router matter it's a netgear brand.
 
Well at home it worked. I'm at work right now and there's wifi here. I don't understand it worked home and not at work.
 
I am having an issue and I am using a range extender. I wonder if your work uses them too. I get pretty bad speeds in my office (where the extender is located) but great speeds downstairs (where the wireless router is). I get about double the speed on my GNex, iPhone 4s, and Nexus 7 (I haven't checked the speed of my N10 yet) in my office. There is something going on with the N4 and my range extender. Both the router and extender are using the same SSID so I shouldn't be seeing issues and it should pick-up the stronger signal but it isn't.
 
Yeah I have a Airport Extreme Basestation making my wifi network and Airport Expresses extending the network and it doesn't seem to get as good of a signal as my Note LTE did when I'm near one of the repeaters. Not really an issue cause I get enough signal but it's definitely not as good of a signal.
