Help Wi-Fi Settings

When I'm in my Wi-Fi Settings Tab, up at the top next to Wireless & Networks, the Settings tab is unaccessible. I am having troubles with DHCP and my tablet and would prefer to set it to static, well this would where I would most logically think I would go, however I cannot. Anyone have any advice. I really don't want to go out and buy a new router just beacuse it is faulty in terms of it's DHCP capabilities.

I'm not clear what you are saying, is this in your tablet or on your router?

Your router interface would be where you assign a static IP for a device.

I've never had any problems with wifi on my A500, but a lot of people have and there are a lot of threads already on this forum re wifi. Simply re-booting the router seems to fix a lot of problems.

Ok, I guess I'm unclear how to set the static IP manually in the router. All my PC's, I do it through the Wireless card settings, not the router. I have to reset the router 3 times a day in order to keep the DHCP functioning with my tablet, however setting a static IP, my other wireless devices will function forever without hiccups. They were having the same problem, so I'm hoping this will help too.
