Help Wi-first off when screen off

WI-FI not wi-first

I am trying to make it that my wi-first turns off when the screen goes off.

I am choosing the option in settings but it keeps reverting back to Never (Always on)

Any ideas why?

I don't have that problem but I don't run a stock ROM either.
So I guess that's for what its worth. So when you turn it on from sleep mode the wifi is already on. There is some kind of wifi patch on the acer site but I don't know if that addresses that issue. I think it was for connectivity issues.

Yeah, I change the setting to off when screen off but wifi seems to be staying active and if I go back in to settings it is switched back to always on.

I tried the acer patch and I think you're right , it was just for connectivity issues
