Wicked 4G goodness with 2.2

Pulling 1.5 to 2.2 in the Monroe, WA area... About 10 miles from the 4G towers in Snohomish, WA... Pretty solid 1.0 up, but down is just depressing... Course, I am only pulling 700k down on 3G...

At first I didnt think 2down was good, but then I thought, At 10 miles away, thats not too bad. 10 miles is a long reach.

This is pathetic, just simply pathetic....I cant even pull 1M down I did several test on testmy.net and the speed test app I get like 922kb on 4G with 5 bars service and 2 bars of 4G.....when I 1st got it I was pulling between 3 and 4M down....this is sad

I got 7.41 download and .77 upload. This is inside of my house in the southern suburbs of Baltimore. Before I had a hard time getting the signal inside of my house. This is some badassery!

Anyone in Chicago seeing these increased rates because I'm not, regardless of signal strength or location.

I'm in Niles right now and pulled down 3.3Mbps on 1 bar.

Signal strength is definitely better with the Wimax update (Wimax26023) but the speed is on par with before the update (maybe with more bars I'll get better speeds?)

Improvement in reception for Wifi and 4G. Dallas, TX. Speeds about the same. I will re-test again later and report back if its improved or worse.

i wouldnt even bother with posting upload speeds anything under 1 mb is pretty accurate. since wimax is capped at 1mb anything over 1mb is false. i tested my clear and 4g last night .65 to .98 is what i was getting expect twice when i got 1.75mb. only time you get over 1 is when the tower burst.

???? where are you getting your information from? obviously.. not from sprint, clear, or anyone who has real information on wimax. refrain from posting false information here please

I think he means that Sprint is capping 4G upload rates at 1Mbit/sec, not that WiMax isn't capable of greater.

I live just between both of these places, about 12 miles from each right in the middle. I work in Stockton and never see more than 2 of the 3 bars on my 4G. At my home I rarely if ever get anything other than poor, if even that. WTH...so far 3G is the way to go. 4G does very little other than let me talk on the phone and use data, and drain my battery in record time..any suggestions?!
