widget disappearing act

[HotDawg]

Hmmm. My Evernote widget just disappeared. Even from the widget choice list. I have had some apps disappear before, too.

Are you rooted? If so, did you possible freeze or delete something by mistake?

[HotDawg]

Aha! I think it was because I moved the app to the media area.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, moved to media area and it dissapeared again. Move it back and all is well. Weird thing is I moved it yesterday and the widget didn't dissapear until today.

No, not rooted - I'd probably brick my phone.

It's a widely reported issue that apps moved to the media area disappear from time to time. Best to keep everything on the phone until they can issue a fix.
