hi. how can I make a widget (shortcut) to call one of my contacts and put it on my desktop?

Two ways...

I use the People widget. You add individual contacts to it, then select the Call option as the default action when you touch the contact.

The other way is Personalize > Shortcut > Direct Dial (or Person) > Select contact > Select 'Call' as the default action. You'll then see an icon on your Home screen, which when you press will call that contact.
