Widgets and Apps for 2.2 and 2.3

I figure since this forum is for people who have rooted their HTC Hero's and updated to 2.2 or 2.3. I was thinking maybe we could have a thread where people could post cool apps they found and widgets as well. Also could ask questions if you have any.

I've downloaded a couple Clock widgets from the marketplace, and when I go to add them to my homepage, they don't show up under my widgets. One of them shows up under my apps, and the other doesn't show up at all. The only way I can get it pulled up is if I go into my applications I've downloaded in my settings.

Are you using an alternate launcher?
Whats your setup / ROM?

If you use Launcher Pro some sense widgets won't work, or are unavailable. You could always upgrade to the paid version and get the LP widgets.

This may be where you're having problems. If you provide a little more info someone may have a solution.

No sense widgets will work because he is not on a Sense UI ROM anymore. As Granite1 said, a little more information on what clock widgets you are using would go a long way to seeing what the issue is.

Many widgets do have an app associated with them, in your app drawer, for settings. Let us know which widgets you are using.

My all time favorite is Android Agenda Widget. I count on it all day long to compensate for my failing memory.

If you have installed the Apps to your SD cards, widgets wont be allowed.
Move the apps to phone and the widgets will show under the menu..
