Help Widgets not updating

Not sure if this is a Note thing or more general. Like most people, I guess, I like a clock widget on my home page. My widget of choice is SDS Clock so I installed it on my new Note. Over the last couple of days I have noticed that it isn't updating the clock. This happens randomly, so that sometimes it catches up after 30 minutes and sometimes after 3 hours. I thought it was the widget and tried a Beautiful Widgets widget but still the same problem. I have had to delete the widget entirely before it causes me to be late!
Anyone have any ides please?

I had hoped that this was due to the O2 outage yesterday but I'm back online and it's still happening. Does anyone have any ideas please? I wouldn't like to be without my widgets.
