Help widgets recovery

Hi guys,

I accidentally deleted all the widgets on my home screen of my xperia x8.

I tried long tap on the home screen,but it gives options to change wallpapers.

How do i recover my widgets. Pls help!!

Are you absolutely sure the widgets have been removed from the home screeen? I'm wondering if you've inadvertently scrolled to an adjacent screen (swipe left or right on the screen).

Don't laugh, people do that.

A long press, not "long tap," should bring up a menu with a lot more choices than just wallpapers. But another method to add app shortcuts or widgets to the screen is menu > add (menu + on some devices).

Press the menu key and select arrange widgets and then at top of screen you should have add widget. Scroll through and find the ones you want to put back.
