Help Wierd Ads Showing up in my Notifications

Lately i've been getting a little green Plus Mark in my notifications, beside it an ad for Online dating or some other useless peice of information concerning apps or what not... i'd like to know where they're coming from and how to get them off my D*mn phone... dont need the wife seeing it...

They come from an app you installed that is using airpush advertising. Install Addons Detector from the Market to find out which one and uninstall it.

Also, I'd be willing to bet that whichever app it is has a bunch of negative ratings because of it. The lesson to be learned is to look at the feedback before installing an app.

ylexot is correct about the advertising. I too had the same thing happen awhile ago and installed AirPush Detector from the market. It works great, no mo BS adds.

Thanks for the two apps. I dont have much problem with this stuff but if I do or if others do it is nice to know what to get to take care of it.

So check this out I think it might be Andi, or the siri for android app.

I had to SBF and was reloading apps. Then I forgot about Andi. Downloaded it and then got e-mails about the paid versions. Then immediately started getting those. Read into the paid version and states its ad free.
