Wierd voicemail notification through sms

I just rooted my phone and flashed the new Fresh ROM and now my phone will notify me of a voice mail through Handcent and through the notification bar. I don't know how that happened but I've been trying to figure out to get rid of the Handcent notification.
 
If you don't want the messages, go to Google Voice and set it to not send you SMS

Or at least I am assuming you use Google Voice.
 
same issue, had an SMS that said i had a voice message from some facebook friend, then two from sprint saying i needed to call 408-970-0000 then it asks if I have an SMS enabled phone. Then the call ends. Any ideas? I also have fresh 2.0d
 
I have had the same problem with the same ROM. I re downloaded the .zip file, wiped, and flashed. Just follow what flipz says on page one about "What to expect / how to flash it / READ THIS :" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=643034
Not sure if this will fix your problem, but I think this is what fixed mine. I will have to re flash my wife's phone this weekend to see if this fixes the same problem on her phone.
 
I have been having issues with the 2.0d and the voicemail notifications. I got an SMS message saying I received a voicemail when I never did. It was from a person who would have likely never called me.
