Help Wife's droid inc. 2 is saying (app. is no longer available)

First off my wife loves the phone as she doesn't need 4g as she would crush the battery too quick with the way she uses. However she wanted to adjust some settings and when we click it is saying (linked program is no longer installed on your phone).

I would try a factory reset but don't know how to do it without going into settings.

Any help much appreciated.

Boot into hboot by holding the volume down button while turning the phone on. I'm pretty sure you can factory reset from there.
