Help WIFI Affect/Interfere LTE Service?

I've noticed that when I sit near my AT&T Uverse router, my 4G service either switches to 3G or 1X, stalls, or data does NOT function altogether. This happens 75% of the time.

This NEVER happened with my OG Droid. I know it's 3G, but there must be a correlation b/t the router's signal and the LTE radio.

Anybody have this issue? Is somehow the 700mhz LTE signal conflict with the WIFI signal?

Sounds like the same issue that Sprint's having with some of their WiMAX phones. I don't know the possible interference issues between the 4G bandwidths and the Wifi bandwidths might work, but poor testing and quality control could account for the issues you're seeing.

Of course, this highlights one of the most absurd issues in modern smartphones. WHY THE HECK DON'T CARRIERS OFFER UNLIMITED MINUTES OVER WIFI THROUGH A SKYPE-LIKE SERVICE????? This is such a sad pathetic money-grab. Such a service could easily be on EVERY SINGLE smartphone that's out now.
