Root wifi authentication problem

Afriz

Hello, I have HTC Desire HD. I rooted it with AAHK. My rom is codefirex SR12. Before rooting everything was fine, but now I cant connect to my router, it says "Authentication problem". I know that password is correct. And its not the ROM problem, because I tried another ROM, and i get the same problem. Any ideas?

Hello, Afriz, welcome to Android Forums - thanks for joining!! :)

I guess you mean that you are not able to connect to your router from the outset? When you've flashed your ROM, you have performed full wipes, haven't you?

Thanks for greetings :) You're right, I'm not able to connect to my router. I'm not quite sure about full wipes. When i started phone after root, it tried to boot for 10 mins, then I read the manual and it said, that I have to go to "HBoot" > recovery > wipe data/ factory resset. Thats all I did.

That is what I meant :)

When you flash a new ROM, it's always best to wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cache.

Not sure what your issue is... will have a bit of a search and see if I can't help work this out :)
