wifi better or worst??

just an opinion thing but do you think your home works better or worst on wifi?? cause I think I see dramatic improvement on my phone just a thought
 
It should work better, unless the wifi connection isn't much better than your mobile internet connection.
 
My phone is much faster. Using the speed.net test, my wifi is pulling speeds about 5 times faster then my 3G....although i only get 1 or 0 bars in my house.
 
speedtest app always gives me a great speeds for wifi, compared to 3G. Usually double the speeds. Although I dont see a difference with downloading from the market, wondering if VZW/Android caps speeds...*shrug*
 
WIFI on eris is a joke. I have a 15 Mb connection and can only get about 2 Mb 3 on a great day over wifi. The 3G is running at about .5 to 1.5 and is much better on the battery. I have full bars according to the status bar. It makes no sense to me either.

It's a mobile device. They don't need to be able to pull 3+ Mb. It's very rare that you will ever max that out on a cell phone. From what I can tell, my ipod touch can't get too much higher than what my Eris can. So its either a limitation of speedtest mobile, or the network adapters aren't quite as robust.

And WiFi is noticeably faster when you use YouTube.

The Eris wifi hardware seems to max out at about 5 Mbps. That throughput is the most I've seen with speedtest on my Eris.

Yeah same here, just did another speednet test, DL was 5459kbps (but did go little passed 6000), and UL was 775kbps.

But I never see a difference when surfing the web, or even using the markets. I dont youtube much with eris.
