Help wifi comes on automatically after update to jellybean

Interesting now after the update was installed to jellybean now the wifi turns on by itself when it recognizes a network. i guess it makes sense for the reason that it theoretically saves data charges for those with data plans. post if your wifi automatically turns on after most recent update. thanks

They have had that feature for a while, I think it was introduced in Ics.

It is called connection optimizer. It automatically turns on wifi when the WiFi signal is stronger than 4g or 3g. It can be turned off in settings>mobile data>automatic connections.
