Help Wifi Connection acting funny

When ever I connect to my WiFi at my house, my ultra connects but the wifi icon stays white/gray meaning I have no internet/connection. Why would it be doing that? I've tried resetting the phone and using some wifi fixer on apps but to no avail (even though using the wifi fixer fixed it a little bit where it would connect and stay green, but it would drop in no time)
