Help Wifi connection problem

Hi, cant find this exact problem anywhere so hoping someone can help.

Since updating my galaxy s2 to 4.0.3, I can't find any wifi(when scanning for wifi nothing shows up, only previously connected out of range signals). However if I manually add the network SSID and security(if any) it will connect and will remember this from now on.

As a result I just got by as I usually only connect to 2 networks which now connect automatically but it has got a bit frustrating when in a new place and it can't find any wifi.

Hello robbie, welcome to AF! I think you will get a better answer in your device forum, but I need to know if you have the T-Mobile, AT&T, or Intl version of the GS2. I will be happy to move this forum for you once I have that info.

I have the international version of the GS2.
