Wifi crashes at 12am.

when im browsing the web etc and it hits 12am and just randomly cuts out, it still says the wifi is on wen u pull down the notification bar, but it goes off on the top of the screen. it defintly cuts out the wifi though and just uses my regular internet. its not a massive problem as i just turn it off an back on an it works fine, but i just want to know why its doin that. its android 4.0.3 on vodafone. not rooted. any1 know anything? thanx james.

Sounds to me if you have some sort of power saving policy active.
You can automatically shut elements down such as wifi, BT, data sync etc. when the battery drops below a certain percentage, but timed shutdowns are not a standard feature of Sammy ROMS.
You may have a 3rd party app (Eg. Juice Defender) that might be doing this perhaps?

i dont have any battery saver apps installed mate. could it just be a bug from ics?
