Root Wifi diconnecting BB 0.2.1

I've seen this on multiple 2.2 ROMs, don't think this is BB ROM specific. I get connected and am able to use WiFi, but if I leave it on for a period of time I can start getting failures to connect to web pages/online content.
 
More info would be appreciated - this happening with multiple WiFI spots or just one? Are you in control of the spot(s) where this happens? Does WiFi turn off , or just not give you activity (Browser page cannot be found errors / Market timeout errors)?

Which radio (baseband) update are you using if any?
 
well right now its just 1 wifispot.(Though it didnt work too well at home but i didnt have it on too much) I am at home in control but at work its just a floating signal. It says disconnecting. baseband update c_01.43.01p. It seems to take away my 3g or 1x signal while it tries to connect and disconnect. then i cannot connect to anything til i shut off the wifi. seemed to work on jrummys.

I have too, thankfully I get 4 3G bars here at home, so I can leave wifi off.
 
had to switch from bugless beast it was just to um well buggy. I never lose connection with jrummys rom, and i was also losing apps and widgets on bb 0.2.1. ohh well.
 
wifi keeps turning off and on my galaxy s i9000
tried to swich off and on again, not working.... what is the problem? how can i solve it?
