Root Wifi error help

i just installed the viper one s rom in my htc one s. everything works great but my wifi doesnt turn on. when i try to click on it it says error. can someone help me fix this problem ? i believe it has a problem to do with a kernel but idk . im a noob at this

Mine worked fine first time, but the zip found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2064868 fixes it if it doesnt work (I will post here too)

Put zip into sdcard via computer. Boot into cwm. Install zip from sdcard. Choose that zip file u copied into SD. Reboot. Ur good!

right now i am back on cm10.1 but i am going to try and see if it fixes the wifi problem. so once i flash the rom and the boot.img . install the zip file? or can i instal the zip file after the rom is installed?

Flash the ROM, then the boot.img then boot up then reboot to recovery and install the zip file to fix the wifi
