I installed the free version of this app and it works flawlessly and easily. I kind of wish it was a little less than $10, but if I ever decide I need a tether, this will be it.
 
Aren't there completely free, no-restriction non-root versions such as the clockworkmod one? ***edit: nevermind, clockworkmod tether is a 14 day trial and then limited to 20MB per day after that.

Anyways, these tethering apps just get cheaper and cheaper! Thanks to the developer to giving us yet another choice! Also the free 5-min per day is a neat idea, I've often wondered why paid apps didn't do more like that.

I'll give it a whirl and compare it to others and the vzw native.

Yeah im a little concerned about this too. This is the only REAL reason for rooting, and flashing the ocassional rom. Even if verizon blocks it, it can still be installed via apk off the devs site or sponsered site right?
 
ok, so I don't think I can really test it out since I am already subscribed to vzw tethering, correct? It uses the exact same tethering, but somehow sidesteps the authentication?
