Root wifi hotspot problem

After root, s-off and running midnight ROM I can't use my wifi hotspot (I'm paying the extra $15)
I can enable the hot spot but i cant connect any of my devices,, when I go to settings/ sprint hotspot settings I get the error "unfortunately, settings has stopped", I've tried Foxfi and the app that came with the ROM with no luck

how can I fix it?,

easy fix... cancel the wifi hotspot..... and install wifi tether go to settings under wifi tether. and click routing fix and change device profile to "Generic ICS"

I'm using the same setup, Midnight rom and rooted with s - off. The wifi tether program works fine for me without the $15 fee. Are you sure that you have the settings correctly set up and have given it permission in superuser? Does the hotspot show up on your device?

Yes it does, but its stuck in optaining ip address
I flashed armonia and it worked just fine, I didn't have to use the wife tether app, but I kinda like midnight Rom better
 
Use WiFi tether, select generic ics WLAN0 in addtion to the other option for routing fix. Boom, should work.
