OK, bear with me.
My son (well, it's mine, but I let him use it...) has a Nintendo DS, which can only use WEP security for the WiFi connection. I don't want to leave my Router on WEP - it's just not secure enough.
I suddenly thought yesterday, that I could use the phone to setup a temporary Wireless Access Point using WEP security. Thing is, the signal at home is utterly pants, I can barely get any signal, let alone 3G so I thought I'd use the home WiFi, but the Mobile Hotspot app switches to 3G/H. OK, I understand that this is a sensible default behaviour, but I was just wondering if anyone had tried anything similar?
Cheers,
Simon
