Help WiFi interferes with laptop

Just got my MT a couple of days ago, and whenever I turn on it's WIFI and connect to my home network, it bumps the wife's laptop off.

I checked their respective IP's and they are different.

Any ideas, the wife gets a little upset when I bump her off the internet.

it has to do with frequencies... im not sure there is anything that can stop it

The same thing happens to my Toshiba A505-6005 laptop, with the Realtek RTL8191SE wireless n adapter. I have updated the nic driver, and set up static ip's for both devices trying to fix it, but nothing has yet.

Actually I have a newer HP laptop and it's been bumped off by my Triumph on every WiFi network I put both on since day 1. I asked months ago and no one seemed to have the same issue. Wonder what it is...Still no fix here

My wife's laptop is a new(ish) (under a year) COMPAQ it gets bumped as soon as I start WiFi on my MT. My laptop is a HP and it is fine, it is on the N-band 5 GHz freq though, the wife's is on the 2.4 GHz.
