WiFi is TERRIBLE

Have you tried the no sleep setting?

Settings > Wireless and Network > Wi-Fi Settings > Advanced > Wi-Fi sleep policy > Never
 
richierich: I tried that as well, and it does keep my wifi connection open and 3g off. Still, data won't transmit until I restart wifi.
