Help WiFi issues?

Hey everyone. Just picked this phone up today. I am having wifi issues.

I have a netgear router. Its a dual band. When I search for wifi on the phone it sees 1 band, which I'm fine with using that one... but the problem is that I will connect and have excellent strength/full bars then every 10 seconds or so my phone tries to re-obtain the ip address. So if I try to perform a search in the market place, a browser, etc that takes longer than that duration of time it will fail. Using a static IP does not help.

Anyone else experience issues like this? I have the router providing wireless to 2 Macbooks, an iPad, an iPhone and a Droid 1. None of those have problems.

I had problems when my router is set to accept connections from 802.11a.b.g and n.
It kept saying I was connected but still couldn't access the net.
So I had to keep disconnecting and reconnecting to get it going again. It got very annoying. So I set my router to g only and haven't had a problem since. I do wish I could use N but I have too many g devices.
