WIFI Keep Dropping Out

I noticed my WIFI connection would be lost while using the phone. It will only stay on unless I select the "Best WIFI performance" options under advance. It states it will draw more power. ahhh...

Also, what's your WIFI sleep policy? I think the default is 15 minutes. What's your settings?

I have noticed that switching from 4g to WiFi and vice versa makes the connections unstable. A restart seems to fix it (pretty anoying tho).

I have it set to never sleep, but it still drops off more often than I'd expect. This becomes quite annoying if you use the wifi calling feature. It's just like driving and going through weak signal areas- connection dropping in and out all the time. It's like my home has turned into example of tmobile service in general.

I have only seen this if you are on a wifi call and the wifi signal was very low, the phone will try and switch back 4G. The only way around that is to set the wifi calling app to "Wifi preferred" (but will still drop if the signal is weak) or "wifi only". But that is a pain to switch back and forth. I keep my wifi calling on when I am at home because I have almost no cell signal at all. I have never had wifi drop out or sleep unless I close the wifi calling app. If you enable your Wifi it will automatically sleep after the set time, unless as you stated, you force it on by setting to best wifi performance. If wifi stayed on all the time it would kill your battery in no time, that is why it is set to turn off when the phone is in standby.
