I have been trying to figure out how the MAC Id of the wireless on my Nexus got changed. I have been using one particular rom but wanted to try another. When I loaded it up my MAC Id got changed, but I didn't realize until later. I restored my original rom but the MAC was still changed. How can a rom change a value that I thought was for all practical purposed "hard-wired" to the phone? And how do I change it back, or should I not bother?
