Help WiFi not in range ... ?

GoneGator

Lurker
Just got my Tbolt, and the only issue I've found - so far - is WiFi. I don't broadcast my SSID, but when I put in the Network name and password, I get "Not in Range, remembered".

I've rebooted the phone, the router... nothing. WiFi status reads "scanning". I have other phones, Mac Computers, BluRay player, PS3, Xbox 360 - all connected and never any issues.

Is there a step or trick I'm missing here? FWIW my wife's iPhone has no problems, and I test drove an Evo last year. It too had no issues connecting.

Thanks.

I too have the same experience with my Thunderbolt and my wife's incredible. I have to log in to my router (netgear) and change the settings to broadcast ssid each time I want to download over wifi. As soon as I do both phones connect no problem.
