Help wifi not working

i rooted my 2.2 using the xda method but my wifi dont work it connect for a sec and the disconnect and it keep repeating this over and over i try a few different rom right now i am trying the virus and still having the problem any idea waz the reason for this wifi issue?

Try to first reset the phone, even try a battery pull.

Next, believe it or not, reset the router.

Next, download Wifi Analyzer (free, Market) and see that you're not having a channel conflict with a neighbor.

This isn't a root issue, so I'm moving this to Support and Troubleshooting - others have had this problem and may advise you further from there.

If you're asking if I've personally had this problem and have those things worked for me - yes, absolutely.
