hi,
i've had a look through the board and found ppl with similar problems but now real solutions yet. out of the blue my galaxy note stopped being able to make a solid connection to the wifi signal in my home. this is despite the signal and connection being strong. i've tried power cycling my router/modem but this hasn't helped. all i have left is to reset the phone entirely but before i do that i need to back up my contacts, which i'm trying to do now.
if anyone knows a simple, reliable way to do that or think s they know how to deal with the wifi issue please speak up.
it seems a pretty common problem and if we can get a solution up here it'll help a lot of ppl.
