Help wifi reception weak

Just upgraded my phone from galaxy s2 to s3. I found S3's WiFi reception is much weaker comparing to my s2. In the same spot at home, galaxy s2 got 3 wifi signal bar while S3 only 1 bar. router has no problem at all. I tried wifi power saving fix, but it did not fix the issue.
Does any anybody has similar issue? Any fix suggestion? Thanks

I may have a version of that same issue. Today I bought an s3 to replace my HTC Evo 4g, which recently died. My Evo was often connected to my home wifi; so far, my attempts to connect the s3 to my home wifi have ended with the message, "Network disabled. Poor connection."

Like Jalascooby, I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Today I re-edited my wifi network info, and my s3 connected fine. I don't know what made the difference.

what did you edit in wifi network? I will try if it works on my phonerrently my wifi strength is like N-2: that is if your signal bar is 4, mine will be 4-2=2 ....
