Root wifi startup

Greetings. I am on Cyanogen Nightlys. Is there a way to make the wifi auto start when I reboot the device? Thanks

Two things to try.
1)Check the settings you'll find here
menu > settings > wireless & networks > wi-fi settings > menu > advanced > wi-fi sleep policy

2) Did you turn on airplane mode? If so, that can cause wifi to be turned off after each boot, but it's an easy fix:
Install Android Assistant from Market, open it, tap the "tools" tab at the top, then look for the airplane button in the lower right corner. Make sure it's gray. If it's blue, tap it to clear it.

I expect #2 is the correct answer.

It looks like you were more than correct about it being number 2. Though I did check in wireless settings and made sure airplane mode was disabled. I guess this app works in a different way? Thanks so much for a quick answer and I apologize if this is a duplicate questions.

Glad it worked out for you. And no problem for the duplicate question - we try not to get too worked up about those things here. :)
