Help wifi switches itself off

severe wifi problem:

i switch on the WiFi and it switches itself off after approximately 30 seconds

have downloaded an applicaton called "fix wifi" but to no avail

You might want to check menu>settings>power saving mode and see if you have enabled turning off wifi when not connected to mobile AP. If you are running any other power saving apps, you might be running into a conflict.

I had that same issue a few months back.

I ended up backing up my data and factory resetting it.

That worked for me...

Go to settings-->wireles and network-->mobile networks-->use packet data. That'll fix it.

Scratch that. It did fix my 4G though.
