How do i use portable hotspot or wifi tether to connect to my Wii? I go through my settings on Wii and only time I see it in the device list on the phone is when i have the option to test connection. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you running a custom ROM and are you paying for the service?

To be very honest with you. I had a Wii jail broken and it could not detect the WiFi unless it is open only. Even then the WiFi is laggy unless you want to play videos and music if you try to play games on your Wii you will be highly disipointed the only app I know to allow this was WiFi tether from goggle groups on a open WiFi only
