Wifi tether broadcasts in b how do i broadcast in g or n?

Anyone else use wifi tether through the any of the 2.3 based roms know how to get the broadcast signal to work in g or n?

I dont use a wifi tether app just the built in through settings menu.

Since you're obviously rooted already why don't you just get one of the numerous free widgets available? You'll have many more options to choose from.
